Sheyenne Care Center offers many opportunities for individuals in the health care field. Positions such as nursing, nursing assistants, business office, housekeeping, dietary, and many other positions throughout our organization offer individuals a variety of challenging careers.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM SMP HEALTH SYSTEM
The purpose of providing benefits is to address the economic and security needs for you and your family. In some instances, benefits may vary among facilities, but only when SMP Health System has consciously decided that differences should exist for good business reason, usually related to different markets and competitive practices. As well, some facilities have employee classifications that are not eligible for benefits unless stated in the policy for the benefit.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
PTO provides benefit eligible employees (working 16 hours per week or more) with paid time off to use for personal reasons, the occasional sick day, vacations, bereavement, holidays and any unscheduled work absence of 15 minutes or more.

DISABILITY PROGRAM
A serious medical condition can result in the loss of income that is important to you. The disability plans administered by SMP Health System will help to provide protection during such an event.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Flexible Spending Accounts provide you with the opportunity through payroll deduction to set aside a portion of what would have been taxable income and deposit the money into a Personal Reimbursement Account.
RETIREMENT AND THE 401(K) SAVINGS PLAN
SMP Health System's principal source for retirement income is the 401(k) Savings Plan, a matching savings plan in which SMP Health System makes a substantial contribution for each dollar that you contribute.
SERVICE AWARDS
In recognition of service to SMP Health System, you will receive recognition after the following continuous years of service. (3, 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). Each milestone in your service at SMP Health System will be recognized by your facility.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Through APS Healthcare (our Employee Assistance Program), SMP Health System provides a valuable benefit to you and your family members by making available independent and objective counseling or referral for marital, family, legal, financial, emotional and chemical dependency problems.
